My name is LaMar Khalid Rahmaad, stage name (Killa).  Since the age of 2 years old I have had a passion for music  and playing the drums.  I was born in Flint, Michigan in 1982, Only miles from the renowned home and sound of Motown.  My parents Marzuq & Laura Rahmaad recognized my desire to be a drummer and encouraged me to pursue this passion.  At age 2 I had my first set and was playing in talent shows and at churches.  I am comfortable  in all music genres.

I have performed alongside and shared the stage with great musicians as: Kim Burrell, Rance Allen, Rizen, John P. Kee, Joshua Redmond, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Anthony David, Charlie Wilson, Dwele, Omar, Scar, Keke Wyatt, N’dambi, Rico Love and many others.  My studio work include Ceelo-Green and Boyz II Men.  I’ve been a professional musician for over 30+ years.
